Competitors Turned Business Partners

Now, contrary to what you might think, this acquisition isn’t actually that new of a concept. In fact, during a moment in the interview, Helou remarked, “We’ve always looked up to Schedulicity.”

Both companies have spent years revolutionizing the booking industry, pushing each other to innovate and improve. Rather than rivalry, there was always a level of mutual respect—and now, that admiration has evolved into collaboration.

With their combined expertise, Vagaro and Schedulicity are set to elevate the industry even further, offering a more powerful and streamlined experience for business owners and clients alike.

A Smooth Transition for ALL Users

While change can seem daunting, both CEOs assured listeners that user experience remains the top priority. Vagaro has committed to a seamless migration for Schedulicity users, ensuring they have access to all the tools they love—plus some new ones!

Helou reassures, “We’ve made sure all settings and appointments are imported to Vagaro [from Schedulicity] the way businesses had them before.” It’s clear that both companies sought to make the process as seamless as possible for migrating users. Helou thoughtfully compares the experience to getting a new car: “It’s like when you get a new car, but imagine the seat is already adjusted the way you like, or the air conditioner set just how you had it before.”

An Exciting Undertaking for a Greater Tomorrow

During the interview, Nettuno proudly stated, “Although the Schedulicity name will be going away, the legacy will be around for the future.” This acquisition isn’t just about merging two companies—it’s about building something even stronger.

With Vagaro’s extensive capabilities, engaged community, and Schedulicity’s loyal user base, the transition represents an opportunity to redefine the future of beauty and wellness business management. While it’s not a process without its challenges, Helou reassured, “It’s a challenge we wanted to take on.”

At the end of the day, both leaders see this as more than just business. It’s a shared commitment to innovation, growth, and creating the best possible experience for the professionals who rely on them.
