Crafting a Spa Brochure: The Essential Elements for Maximizing Engagement

When it comes to the brochure itself, it can be easy to want to overload it with imagery and information. Keep in mind, though: Your spa brochure’s goal is to entice readers and spark curiosity & engagement. This won’t be possible if you reveal all of your spa’s unique secrets and services. The key is to create a sense of intrigue and leave room for conversation. Fortunately, with thoughtful consideration of the sections in your spa's brochure, achieving this balance is surprisingly straightforward. Now that we’ve covered what the purpose of a spa brochure is, let’s explore the distinct sections that you should incorporate.

Cover & Introduction

This is the first thing someone will see. It’s the make-it or break-it factor that dictates whether they choose to pick it up and start reading. It’s best that this front page is left mostly for an eye-catching visual, as opposed to written elements. Other than the name of your spa, and perhaps a slogan or catchphrase, it would be best to refrain from using text on the front of your brochure. When it comes to the images themselves, use your logo or professional images of your own spa. High-resolution photos can showcase the ambiance and atmosphere of your spa, enticing potential clients to experience it firsthand. Actual images from your spa will resonate more with readers than something that is clearly a stock image. If you’re at all unsure about the image(s) you choose, ask for feedback! As a business owner, you have an abundant reservoir of external input and suggestions at your disposal. At the end of the day, version one is better than version none.

About

The About section of your brochure should be succinct, but informative. Things like your brand’s core values, visions, and mission statement can (and should) be included here. This will enhance the accessibility of your spa, facilitating a smooth and convenient experience for prospective customers.

Therapists & Staff

If you have staff members, it would be wise to include a Staff section inside your brochure. These introductions can be short and are mainly used to highlight the qualifications of key spa personnel for the potential client. If possible, consider incorporating professional headshots of each of your staff members too—this personal touch not only fosters trust but also creates a welcoming impression for prospective clients.

Preview of Service Menu

It’s imperative to include the different services or offerings from your spa’s service menu. This is your opportunity to showcase the unique experiences & treatments your spa has to offer. Location & Hours

A section that includes the address and hours of your spa should be mandatory in your brochure. This information is typically listed on the same page as the About section in your brochure; however, the final layout for your brochure’s structure is ultimately up to you.

Visuals

It’s important that you’re including high-quality images throughout your entire spa brochure, not just the front cover. The pictures that you choose to include can illustrate specific treatments, highlight amenities, and visually guide readers through the spa's layout.
